Artist's Description
This is an oil painting portrait of a Juvenile Parrot Fish. The juvenile parrot fish has brown markings and changes to the lighter prettier blues as it grows older. When I researched them after snorkeling, I was surprised to find out that the blue and the brown ones were actually the same fish! Parrot fish eat the coral. When you are underwater you can actually hear them chomping away! I love to chase them when I snorkel. I feel like a huntress.
